Gorillaz anuncia novo álbum e turnê

O Gorillaz lançará em 20 de março de 2026 seu nono álbum de estúdio, “The Mountain”, pelo selo KONG. O disco traz 15 faixas com colaborações de nomes como Sparks, Bizarrap, Black Thought, IDLES, Anoushka Shankar, Johnny Marr, Yasiin Bey, além de participações póstumas de Bobby Womack, Proof e Tony Allen. As músicas exploram diferentes estilos e idiomas, incluindo árabe, inglês, hindi, espanhol e iorubá.

A arte visual é assinada por Jamie Hewlett, retratando a banda na Índia, onde parte do álbum foi gravada.

Junto ao anúncio, o grupo revelou a The Mountain Tour, que passará pelo Reino Unido e Irlanda entre março e junho de 2026, com abertura de Trueno e Sparks em algumas datas.

Além disso, o Kong Studios — espaço virtual icônico dos anos 2000 — foi restaurado e retorna como uma experiência online gamificada para os fãs.
